Inn Kunai is a 19th century homestead located in the heart of ŠIMONIU FOREST, surrounded by forest and meadow, and a short walk away from the banks of the Šventoji (Holy) river. Inn Kunai is one of seven homesteads in the village, which is also home to a wooden church and a cemetery.
The Village
SPACES
Innkunai has a spacious yard, with an outdoor kitchen and seating for creating and sharing meals. Our family has a small garden which adds some local flavors to the dishes, and some midday snacks can be plucked from our fruit trees as-well. In the evening people enjoy activities by the fire, either outside, or inside our Tipi.
The Yard
A two-floor building with lots of space to hold events, small concerts, and other activities. Built in the 19th century, part of it is now renovated to have a cozy place to work, study, and do other activities comfortably in the winter.
The Barn
Sauna
The sauna is perfect for any season. It is seperated into two parts. The old sauna that fits up to 15 people, and the new one, for a simpler slightly more modern experience. Both serve as a perfect place to cleanse and relax both mind and body.
A relaxing and refreshing place to take a swim in the summer heat. Enjoy the songs of the birds as you experience the ultimate summer activity - reading a book in a hammock, jumping in the river for a swim, and tanning in the sun. If kayaking is your thing then you are in luck. If you cross the bridge to the other bank you will find our neighbors who will gladly rent you some kayaks or offer you some other fun activities.
